The area: offers many places of great scenic beauty and one of its main attractions is the superb Blue Flag Beach, Rossbeigh, which stretches over four kilometres with views across the bay to the Dingle mountains. This beautiful unpolluted beach provides idyllic conditions for swimming, walking and with a number of mud flats found on the eastern side of the land, some fantastic bird watching opportunities.

The area is also ideal for those who wish to enjoy getting out and about and embracing the great outdoors. Excellent for fishing, horse-riding, golf, tennis, board-sailing, canoeing, hand-gliding, mountain walking and orienteering

Dooks golf club; 18 hole seaside links (oldest links in Ireland and oldest golf course in Kerry) Distance one km.

Killorglin golf club: 18 hole. Distance ten km.

Beauford golf club: 18 hole. Distance eighteen km.

Dooks Golf Course (1 mile)

This golf course, on the shores of Dingle Bay, is a challenging traditional links set in magnificent scenery. There is a friendly atmosphere in the members club and greens are kept in excellent condition. Golf has been played in the Dooks since 1889. The course is set out on one of three stretches of sand dunes at Head of Dingle Bay.
